From December 28-30 in 2011, I visited to Lăng Ông (street selling oriental medicine) in Hanoi, Vietnam for our cooperative survey. This survey is a part of "A historical approach to aromatic medicines in Vietnam", and I went together with my collaborator's interviews.

















My main tasks were just taking photos and collecting reference plant samples, and I got some plant samples.

From September 1 (Thu.) to 3 (Sat.),  I took samples from residues on pots and stone tools excavated from the Shimoyakebe site (JAPANESE) in Higashi-murayama city in Tokyo. My working place was at the Hachikokuyama Taiken no Sato (JAPANESE). 







 

In the previous survey, I analysed residue samples from 19 charred plant remains adhering to the Jomon potteries.
