Welcome to Japanese Archaeobotany

Welcome to Japanese Archaeobotany.net.

This blog introduces Japanese archaeobotany
with information and links for archaeobotanical news and research topics throughout Japan.

I hope that this blog will be useful for any researchers
and students in and outside Japan. That is why this blog is written in English and Japanese.

Very nice to meet you. I am an archaeologist from Canada and I also have archaeobotanical training. The area in which I do my research is Northeast Asia, in particular the Korean peninsula and Japanese archipelago. My interest is in Mumun social change, Yayoi social change, as well as Mumun archaeobotany and intensive agriculture.
