From August 25th to 27th, I took residue samples in Ibusuki-shi, Kagoshima Prefecture.
I will analyse residue samples of stone tools excavated from the Nishitaragasako site (late Palaeolithic) and Mizusako site (Jomon).
The following photo shows the recent situation of the Nishitaragasako site.
I'm looking forward to getting any results from this survey.
For your information, these stone artefacts are stored in the Ibusuki Archaeological Museum. This museum organises a blog "Blog COCCO" (both websites are written only in Japanese).
