Report on ESF-JSPS Frontier Science Conference for Young Researchers

I attended at the ESF-JSPS Frontier Science Conference for Young Researchers (February 27- March 4).

The theme is "Contact Zones of Empires in Asia and Europe: Complexity, Contingency, Causality", and approximately 100 researchers from Japan and Europe joined in this conference.

February 27 (Saturday): Welcome Party

 

February 28 (Sunday), March 1 (Monday): Oral presentation, poster session

 Short talks at night(8:15 pm - 10:30pm)

March 2 (Tuesday): Oral Presentation, excursion

March 4 (Thursday): Departure after breakfast

Most of presentations are mainly in Humanities in this conference, especially European researchers did not mention researches in Natural science little bit unfortunately, but these 5 nights and 6 days were very productive.

Although the detail is unconfirmed, participants planned collaborative research projects. I'm looking forward to joining in them.
