... As you know , commercially available "katakuri-ko" (katakuri means this plant's Japanese name, and ko means "flour" in Japanese) consists of "starch of potatoes".

This plant species in Japan is now listed on its Red List of Threatened Species in many areas. So I bought this reference plant at a distributor of seedlings.
