Yesterday (Friday, November 9), I went to the Kanagawa Prefectural Archaeology Center (URL: Japanese only). I looked at Palaeolithic stone tools found from the Yoshioka sites and took residue samples for my analysis.

In this survey, sampled stone tools are andesite and decayed mostly. Can I find any starch granules from them? I'm starting my observation from next week.
