  1. The Historic Museum Den Briel is found in Brielle and is a Dutch museum. Before, this was named as Trompmuseum and was established in the year 1912. There are different displays that you will find here depending on the levels of the building. For instance, in the ground level, you will see archeological displays. Also interesting is the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, which is the most popular museum in Rotterdam. This was founded in 1847 and during that time it only displayed works of Frans Jacob Otto Boijmans. Later on, other collections have been included particularly the ones from Daniel George van Beuningen. The museum got its name from these two talented artists.

If you love antiques, you should not pas the chance for one of the most interesting museums to visit in Netherlands, which is the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden or when translated: the National Museum of Antiquities. This is the chief archeological museum in Netherlands and is located in Leiden.
