Yesterday, I took residue samples from 3 stone tools at the Nakabyo site in Chiba Prefecture.
All of them were unearthed in 1969, and based on storage conditions until now, there are some research problems such as contaminated problems. So I cannot interpret residues show any situations in the Jomon period by my work. But what materials will be extracted? I will look at these samples just "for reference".
As to the Nakabyo site, "Shimousa Kohkogaku" by Shimousa Kohkogaku Kenkyukai have already reported their research results until the 5th archaeological survey.
