January 24 (Thu) Hachinohe City Archaeological Center Korekawa Jomonkan (URL: JAPANESE only)
Survey: Looking at the exhibition, and observing sediment samples and Ento-doki.

Residue samples I took from stone tools are observed as my initial work prior to our main research projects starting from this coming April.

Some of Ento doki show charred remains on their surfaces. From my next surveys, I will conduct starch analysis of pot residues as well.
