Today, I took residue samples from stone querns stored in a working room of our guest house. These big querns are made of limestones and sandstones, and these ground surfaces sag downwards in the center.
In this survey, I try to examine whether any starch granules can be extracted from dental calculus of human bone remains or not. For comparing with this sample, another calculus of a wild boar remain were also provided.

If I can extract any starch granules from these samples, I can examine the preliminary studies of starch granules from dental calculus. Based on these methods published already, I will conduct this work.
