On 10th, I took residue samples from ground stones in our guest house. They were not washed for keeping soils. After taking samples, I washed these stones and took samples again.
Also I conducted an simple experiment to grind hazel nuts (Corylus avellana) by a ground stone and handstone. They were actual archaeological materials which Turkish institutes excavated in 2009. But they were just left on the site. In order to compare with my starch results and to check these conditions, I took samples from these experimental tools.
This kind of experiments will be conducted for my other research projects as well.
