On 25th (Sat), I joined in the Oumi Kaidzuka Kenkyukai. The topic was "Uses of faunal and plant resources in the transitional phases from the Jomon to Yayoi period".
[Speakers]
Takeshi Yamazaki (Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties), Yuka Sasaki (Paleo Labo Co. Ltd.)
Both of their presentations were very interesting, and I really recognised the importance to think about subsistence, economy and society during these periods focusing on faunal and plant remains.
The next meeting will be held on May 16th (Sat).
