From May 25-29, we went to Taiwan for our museum project. This travel was my first visit to Taiwan.
25th (Wed) Moving from Taipei to Tainan
26th (Thu) National Museum of Taiwan History (Tainan)
We introduced integrated studies of cultural and research resources and discussed about our future perspectives with this museum. After that we interviewed their museum material conditions. According to the president of National Museum of Taiwan History, in Taiwan, archaeobotanical studies are progressing in recent years, and so they were very interested in my studies.
27th (Fri) Seeing Tainan city and moving to Taipei
28th (Sat) Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica, National Taiwan University, and others
29th (Sun) National Museum of History, National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine, others, and coming back to Japan
In this visit to Taiwan, we surveyed materials and museums in humanities mainly, but next time, I would like to survey conditions of scientific studies as well.
