I'm starting the extraction of starch samples from human dental calculus at the Hasankeyf Höyük in Turkey.
Today I measured the weights of samples, treated with 40μl of 10% solution of HCl, and left at room temperature for 24 hours. Reactions of these provided samples are very strong now.
