We went to attend the 29th EAJRS Conference (2018 EAJRS conference in Kaunas). This time, the topic was "(G)localizing Japanese Studies Resources", and it was held at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Our museum, National Museum of Japanese History has joined in EAJRS since 2016, and in this conference, we conducted a resource providers workshop and an oral presentation. We introduced Integrated Studies of Cultural and Research Resources (ISCRR) information infrastructure system ‘Knowledgebase of HIstorical Resources in INstitutes (khirin)’ (URL: just only in Japanese).
Our booth in the conference and resource providers workshop had many attendees, and we got various opinions and suggestions. Thank you very much to all of organisers and attendees.
The next conference will be held in Zurich, Switzerland.
