Digitization and Open Science in Historical Disaster Research

On July 20 (Sat), I participated in an international symposium "Digitization and Open Science in Historical Disaster Research" (URL: in Japanese and English).

Mario Locati, who is a member of the Istituto Nazionale Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), provided a keynote lecture, and other lectures and short talks contained topics about digitization of historical materials, collaboration with tools of digital humanities, and citizen science.

The followings were introduced by the keynote lecture.
