This blog does not show any political issues as my policy. However, the negative results can affect to world archaeology and researchers strongly, and so here I'm writing this issue.
The Department of Archaeology at the University of Sheffield, UK is in crisis of closure. Since May 20 (Thu), Association of Environmental Archaeology (AEA) and other societies as well as researchers in the world are against this issue. The Guardian and other newspapers also write about it as well.

This department has a long history in zooarchaeology and archaeological science, and many great young researchers have been graduated each year. I hope it can be retained.
