National treasure Sugaura documents

On December 13 (Mon) - 15 (Wed), I went to the Museum of Faculty of Economics, Shiga  University (URL in Japanese) to survey Sugaura documents. 

This survey was conducted by FY2021 Collaborative research of the Historiographical Institute, the University of Tokyo (URL in Japanese) and other JSPS Kakenhi projects. We surveyed various materials to observe the paper components and their changes between the Kamakura and early-modern periods.

Microscopic images will be analysed during this FY2021.
